(See below for examples of her work.)  She lives in a remote part of Michigan's Upper Peninsula and displays photos of her children on her personal instagram account.  She is UBER TALENTED!  Her portraits give me all the feels and I catch myself letting out long, dreamy sighs when I'm looking at them.  

I would like to give this style a try with my own touch.  I'm looking for 5 children ages 2-5 to model for my portfolio on February 23rd, 24th and 25th.  A consultation session would need to be scheduled in the next 7 days.  In return for your child's participation, I will gift the photo session along with a 6 inch photo cube displaying a few of your child's images.

]]> aimee@aimeesaphotography (Aimee Sa Photography) child photographer fine art photography model call session gift https://aimeesaphotography.com/blog/2022/2/childrens-fine-art-photography Thu, 03 Feb 2022 00:15:28 GMT Chillin' With The Panttaja Brothers, 2018 & 2022 https://aimeesaphotography.com/blog/2022/1/chillin-with-the-panttaja-brothers-2018-2022 I had the pleasure of being the photographer for both Panttaja brothers, Zachary and Robby.  Both boys are easy going and easy to work with.  Every request I had was met with, "Sure!"  Their parents were there for both sessions and I can see where they get their great personalities.  Robby chose to have his session photographed in an old, abandoned building with some very cool graffiti art work as the backdrop.

Zachary chose a natural landscape for his session.  We ended up in Yokohl Valley on a gorgeous winter afternoon.  His laid back personality is absolutely evident in his portraits.

Carter goes to CVC and, though you can't tell in this photo, he was recovering from Achilles tendon surgery.  We had the perfect weather at beautiful Yokohl Valley that day!

]]> aimee@aimeesaphotography (Aimee Sa Photography) CA senior senior photography senior photos https://aimeesaphotography.com/blog/2022/1/carter-gilberts-senior-session Thu, 20 Jan 2022 20:44:05 GMT This Girl Is On Fire! https://aimeesaphotography.com/blog/2019/3/this-girl-is-on-fire Thinking back to November when I was given the opportunity to shoot a senior session in the San Luis Obispo.  Beautiful Brianna Pinter made my job so super easy!  We started out the session at Higuera Ranch in the rolling hills of San Luis.  If you haven't seen that place you should look them up on social media.  What a gorgeous wedding venue with endless sights and scenes for photography!  WE started casual and did some fun shots in front of an air stream trailer and around the guess house on the property.

Next we moved on to Avila Beach where we hiked to the rocks in Pirate Cove overlooking the ocean and Avila.  So fun! Brianna was a trooper obliging me by crawling out onto the rocks by the edge.  She also bravely agreed to take some cute shots at a couple of spots along the shops and restaurants in Avila with onlookers observing and admiring.  Of course we could not leave without some sunny beach shots.

Our session wrapped up back at Higuera Ranch where we got some fun college t-shirt shots and letterman jacket photos.  Then Brianna changed into first a burnt orange dress for the golden hour shots as the sun went down and then a flowing pink dress for some final fun shots.  The girl can wear the heck out of all of those cute outfits, let me tell you!  She was a trooper and was beautiful throughout the day!
